Hyperconsciousness

Developer-alpha Rust MCP server for encrypted knowledge, keyword search and scoped, expiring grants.

AI & ML

Hyperconsciousness is a community MCP server that connects AI assistants like Claude to developer-alpha rust mcp server for encrypted knowledge, keyword search and scoped, expiring grants. It runs locally on your machine, keeping your data private and giving you full control over the connection. AI engineers can use it to chain models and pipelines into more powerful workflows.

About Hyperconsciousness

Maintainer submission, prepared with Codex assistance. Hyperconsciousness (hc) is an MIT-licensed developer-alpha Rust engine, CLI and MCP/HTTP server for encrypted, signed append-only knowledge and device sync. Its stdio MCP tools let agents search and retrieve records through scoped, expiring grants. Search is lexical and does not require embeddings or an external model.

Build from the public repository with Rust 1.88 using cargo build --release --locked, following the README for native build dependencies. The current README also documents release binaries. Initialize an isolated store with hc start, create a scoped grant, then configure the absolute hc executable path with args ["mcp", "--as", "<grant-id>", "--dir", "<absolute-store-path>"]. Replace placeholders with local values. Start with a read-only grant.

Developer alpha: APIs and commands may change. Grants limit server responses, not OS process access. Hosted model providers can see returned plaintext. No independent security audit or guaranteed backup durability is claimed. Private Companion, phone clients and private agent orchestration are not shipped by this repository.

Who Should Use Hyperconsciousness?

  • 1Chain AI models and pipelines through a unified MCP interface
  • 2Let Claude orchestrate other AI tools and models
  • 3Integrate embeddings, image generation, or speech APIs into your workflow
  • 4Build multi-model workflows without writing custom integration code

How Hyperconsciousness Compares

✦It runs entirely on your local machine, so no data leaves your environment — important for teams with privacy or compliance requirements.
✦Compared to other AI & ML MCP servers, it focuses on a well-scoped set of capabilities, which keeps the integration lightweight and predictable.
